The Hearth is a warm and friendly neighbourhood eatery and bar on Mt Eden Road, a place where friends, families and neighbours come together and let the day slow down a little. We want everyone who walks through our door to feel looked after and at ease, so you can relax, enjoy your food and take your time. Good food always tastes better when there's no need to hurry, and good company makes it even better.
Our menu brings together familiar Kiwi café classics and Sri Lankan dishes, with great coffee, breakfast and lunch every day. Whether it's a slow morning with the paper, a catch-up over lunch or a quiet moment to yourself, there's always a comfy seat waiting. On Friday and Saturday evenings we open for dinner, and we're fully licensed for a relaxing drink at the end of the week.
Families are always welcome, with a kids menu for the little ones, and dogs are welcome in our outdoor seating, a lovely spot when the Auckland sun comes out. We look forward to welcoming you to The Hearth.
