Interview.

What is your business in the Village?
I am an acupuncturist. I treat joint and muscle problems and my wife Bessie specialises in fertility and woman's problems

What do you see your shop as providing to the Village?
Alternative health care and treatments.

How long have you had a shop in the Village?
Just over 8 years.

How do you think the Village differs from other shopping centres?
To me it is more like a traditional village and lots of local support.

What do you enjoy most about Mt Eden Village?
I think people are well educated here and they understand and are responsive to what I do.

Where you born in New Zealand?
No, I was born in China.

If you weren't an acupuncturist what would you do?
I would work in an academic environment either in a university or college.

What is your idea of great food?
Chinese food. Tofu is my favourite food.

What is your favourite meal of the day and why?
Dinner. My wife usually cooks and it is family time for us.

What would you call a great holiday?
Going to China to see my family. I don't see enough of my family and spending time with them is what I enjoy.

If you had to give up everything and choose one thing (object not person) to keep what would it be?
Nothing means that much except my wife and children. I can't think of any object that I am that attached to.
