Mt Eden Village is a relatively small and compact shopping strip but it boasts some fantastic shopping. There is special emphasis on food and Mt Eden Village has its own butcher, fishmonger, greengrocer, bread shop, deli and cake and dessert stores.
A trip into Mt Eden will provide you with everything you need for your family - and it's not supermarket food.

Whilst shopping, stop at one of the many cafes and restaurants. Mt Eden boasts bars serving tapas and restaurants varying from Italian, Japanese, Indian, Thai to Molten a restaurant with a great reputation.
As well there are many cafes where you can enjoy a coffee and snack or a meal.
You will be spoilt for choice with gifts and home decoration. Among these are Tesori, Pomegranate, PPS, and Dream of Italy. Some of these stores stock unique product you won't find elsewhere in New Zealand.

If your ecologically minded then Collectiviaa new addition to the Village is well worth a visit as is The Red Cross Shop and The Mercy Hospice Shop all selling great second hand product.

Country Road sells home furnishing and the Vacuum shop will help you clean your home. Laundry and dry cleaning are also catered for. We have our own jeweler, florist and clothing stores and for the little ones a fantastic toy shop in Mainly Toys.
For travel see The Flight Centre or Air New Zealand Holiday Store and for your currency call in at ASB Bank.

Not forgetting the body, the Village has hairdressers and beauty therapists. Plus a range of health professionals including doctors, dental practices acupuncture, podiatrists, osteopaths, an optometrist and two chemists.

If you are interested in the Arts, then Mt Eden picture Framers, NKB Gallery and Archivista are places of interest. If reading is your thing then Time Out and Dymocksprovide the books.
We even have a top class party and wedding venue in Mantells.
Age Concern and a wonderful complex Mt Eden Gardens Retirement Lodge are all within the Village.
